Happy Fathers Day!

Dennis celebrated his first Father's Day in Oklahoma. Amity knows her daddy very well and knew that he would like a table saw better than a tie. We got to celebrate the day with my dad (aka GDaddy) and made a phone call to Dennis's dad (Pop Pop).

2 Month Appointment Stats

Dennis took Amity to her 2-month appointment with Dr. Moore today while I was presenting a workshop in Frisco. That meant that Dennis got to be the parent to hold her arms down while she got 4 shots. She is now wearing two pink camoflauge band-aids as a reminder of the experience. Of course, the ever-complimentary Dr. Moore described her this time as "gorgeous"!

Many have been curious about her stats lately as she definitely seems to be growing! No, she is not in the 110th percentile!

Weight: 12 lbs. 4 ozs. (75%)

Height: 23" (75%)

Head: 15" (25%) No comments please!

Amity is two months old!

At 2 months, Amity has some very definite preferences:

She LOVES her rainforest mobile...



She likes baths...



but doesn't like getting dried off...

She loves eating but doesn't like burping!

She'd rather face outwards than be cradled.

She likes being outside and is especially fascinated (gets quiet in the midst of a hard cry) when the wind blows in her face.

She prefers sleeping on her tummy and always needs a few minutes to get situated before she falls asleep. But, when she does, she is a good sleeper! Since 8 weeks, she has been sleeping from 10:30 pm-7:00 am. Yeah Amity!

She is the youngest member of the Hillridge Neighborhood CW and takes her job very seriously! Watch out, bad guys!

She likes her Soothies AND WE DO TOO! :) As you can see, we try to make sure that Amity and her pacifiers are never far apart.

She may be a little vain but... who wouldn't be with these cheeks?
