First Sleepover

On Friday night, Amity and Vivi experienced their first sleepover with their cousins. It was lots of fun and they loved having extra friends to talk to at bedtime. They didn't fall asleep until 11:30!

It's the Little Things

On Thursday, we stopped by the Dollar Tree to pick up some things and the girls got to spend one of their dollars they had received from grandparents. After much deliberation, Amity picked out a tiara with matching earrings. Vivi chose a faux Barbie-ish doll. Those two item provided entertainment the rest of the day!

Letting Go

Amity is really into doing her own hair lately. She carefully "matches" her clips and bows to all of the colors of her outfit of the day. Up to this point, I have claimed the right to "finish" her hair before we leave the house. However, on Thursday, we were just going to the Y's Play and Learn and I figured all of the moms there would understand. She was SO proud that I didn't do any part of her hair that say. Who knew God would use hair to be part of my sanctification? :) I loves these two girls and all of the ways they grow me!

I Kiss Like Belle

It was raining on Thursday morning and I laid down to enjoy a few minutes of snuggle time with Vivien before breakfast.  After a short while of of snuggling, V reached over and gave me a prolonged kiss on the lips.  It was definitely wet and lingering!  Then, she sat back and said, "I kiss like Belle!"
I've always said her love language is physical touch but I think we are going to have to set some limits.  You just never know what is going on in those little heads!

A Sad Night

We're a bit sad tonight in the Grover house because Daddy's Spring Break has come to an end, the first dissertation-free Spring Break in the girls' lifetime! We have loved all the extra hours we've had with him and look forward to summer!
