More fun with friends!

Our MOPS speaker last week said that having friends over is almost like free babysitting. On Tuesday, two of our favorite little friends came over while their mom had a few hours of nesting before their baby brother arrives. We had lunch together, an hour or two of rest time and then play time. There were lots of giggles! These four were so cute together!

Amity's friend came over for the day today after ballet and the girls loved having a special guest. So thankful for such a sweet friend!

Strolling

On Saturday night, we offered the girls the choice of playing a game inside or going for a walk/bike ride. They chose to be outside in the beautiful spring weather and we liked their choice! Amity is doing well with her training wheel bike. I learned that Vivi cannot talk and drive at the same time. It was slow-going with her but we had some great conversations!

Scary Good!

Our No WAFTing jar was full of marbles this week so we celebrated with frozen yogurt at the new Monster Yogurt at Casa Linda. We dressed the girls in their pjs with thoughts of going straight to bed upon returning home but the yogurt was too messy. Plus, I asked Dennis to help Amity find something that started with a W or X for show and tell. Bedtime was delayed a good thirty minutes as he taught them the ways of the Whoopee Cushion! Lovely!

Ballet Birthday

Last week, Amity's birthday buddy celebrated her birthday party at the studio where both girls take lessons. Vivien was SO excited to be invited to dance too. She LOVED every minute. Amity loved it too (she was smiling on the inside)! :)

Princess Tea Party

This morning was very special because A and V got to wear their princess clothes OUTSIDE of the house! We went to celebrate their sweet friend Ansley's 4th birthday at a precious tea party. Of course, every tea party just has to have a bounce house! I'm sure Queen Elizabeth just doesn't know what she is missing!

Arturo & Vivi

Today was Vivi's first art class at the DMA and she loved it! She loved having her own name tag (and that Amity didn't), raising her hand, following Ms. Leah, doing the art scavenger hunt, and playing in Arturo's Nest. A fun morning with a fun girl!
