I can't believe I am married to an older man! :) We had a lot of fun celebrating Daddy now that the girls can really get in on the fun and the celebratory planning.
"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life..." Philippians 2

Gospel in the Glitter
At our SOLD class last month, we were looking at how the Reformation is represented in the book of John as well as how reformation happens in our own lives and in our church. As we discussed the types of reformation that we see a need for, one of them was the need to love people in the way they feel it and receive it rather than the way that is easiest for us.
This probably sounds trivial and I know I need to consider how that thought would apply to my life on a bigger scale BUT I found one application of this reformation in GLITTER. I think allowing my girls to play with glitter is high on their list of top ways to show them I love them.
Even though it was not convenient and I knew it would create a mess throughout the house, I decided it was worth it. And it was! They spent over an hour decorating the pumpkins they picked at Owen's farm on the Chapel School trip.
