She is here! Amity surprised both us and the doctor by needing to make her appearance a few days early. Of course, that was fine with us. I just headed on over to the hospital a few blocks away around 10am and called Dennis at work to let him know. He stopped by our house to pack a few bags and got to the hospital a little after 11. My parents headed down from Oklahoma. Dennis stayed in touch with everyone via cell phone or e-mail while we waited on Miss Amity. I was much happier to wait once I figured out what a friend the anesthesiologist can be! Amity made her appearance at 11:01 pm weighing 8lbs, 12oz and measuring 21.5 inches. It truly was a heavenly day! Thanks so much to all of the friends and family that were able to stop by the hospital!
