Amity actually turned 4 months old a little over a week ago on August 7th but, today, Dr. Moore declared it official at her 4 month appointment. Apparently, everyone is curious about her stats, so here they are:
Weight: 16 pounds, 4 ounces (95th percentile)
Length: 25 1/4 inches (80th percentile)
Head: 16 (45th percentile)
I have promised Amity that I will refrain from reporting her weight as soon as she tells me to stop! Until then, I will make it fair by reporting my weight at her age! At four months of age, I weighed 17 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 26 inches in length. Yikes!

We are often asked if Amity looks more like Dennis or like me. We are going to have to get some baby pictures of him when he was a wee one but here is one comparison of Amity and me.

It looks like our biggest similarity is our big mouths! :)
Our homework for the next two months is to learn how to roll, work on sitting up with less assistance, and begin eating some cereal and solid foods. Dr. Moore also gave us some neck stretching exercises and massages to help Amity loosen up a little bit. I think I heard him mention that it will also help her if her dad gives her mom some of those same massages!
I have heard the exact same thing about dads giving moms massages. : )
ReplyDeleteShe is such a cutie!
Candis, I am so glad to know you turned out to be tall and skinny...it gives me hope for baby Avery.
