Not her first rodeo!

This morning, one of our neighbors stopped by with a huge stack of tickets to the Mesquite Rodeo. He works for Red Cross and they had been given more tickets than they could use so he was passing them out around the neigborhood. We took about twenty. Becky and Dylan agreed to go with Dennis and Amity. I sent emails to several yahoo/google groups of friends as well as posted on facebook. At first, no one responded and then I received way more takers than I had tickets. Most of the friends that took the tickets had never been. The Mesquite Rodeo is super-entertaining and good family fun so we were excited for them to experience it.
I stayed home to work on my San Angelo training and take care of Vivien. But, before they left, I tried to prep Amity a little bit since she didn't remember her first time to the rodeo.

Amity had a great time! She may have enjoyed playing in the bleachers with her cousins more than the actual rodeo but she has learned to say, "Ride 'em cowboy!"
