My wise friend Rose once told me that a membership at the Arboretum was the best deal in town because of all of the extras that come with it. One of those extras is Kindermusik classes on Mommy & Me Mondays. The class starts at 12:00 and we had already staked out our spot on the dry grass. There are some regulars that start dancing at the front as soon as Ms. Lisa turns on the music. I could tell that Amity wanted to join them but she just wasn't ready. She preferred to watch all the action from a distance.
Vivien loved the music and I loved the time to clap with her and bounce her. I haven't had as much of this time with her as I did with Amity.
At one point, Amity came behind me and gave me a back hug. All of these people can be intimidating!
