On Day One of the Great Icestorm of 2011, Dennis and I worked on putting up some pictures around the house. I gave Amity the cardboard from one of the frames and she quickly set about drawing a "monster". She had just finished watching a little bit of one of Dennis's sci-fi shows so I am thinking that is what inspired this.
She drew the face and body of the little guy all by herself without any prompting. I then asked her if he had any eyebrows and hair and she added those.
I was very impressed with all of the details and her ability to put them on paper. It looks like she is going to be an observant little girl. That's a great quality!
She then decided to add in Mommy and Daddy and Paco to the lower right and Amity to the left! :)
