In Plain View...

I stayed home this morning to get ready for my next training and Dennis took the girls into Plainview for some fun.  They started out the morning at the library's daily summer storytime.  Today they had a folk band there to perform plus the 70 kids from the Y that joined Dennis and Amity at the theater to see Brave on Monday.  Apparently, we just need to get hold of their schedule!

Amity has a thing about being shy when she is at a place for the first time.  She has a whole theory about it and can explain it in detail.  This is her "I'm here for the first time and I'm going to be shy" face.  I think we are going to go back tomorrow so I have big expectations.

You've got to love library humor!

Amity really loved the butterfly in this case and requested a picture with it.

After the library, they headed to McDonald's with Lolly to enjoy Plainview's special $1.99 Happy Meals on Thursday.  They had fun playing at Lolly's office and walking around Wayland's campus.

They took some back roads on their way home past this gorgeous sunflower field and stopped for some pictures.  I LOVE these and we hope to go back tomorrow for some more pictures (and perhaps coordinating clothing)!

Since our wedding scrapbook is still in the form of a scrapBOX, we plan to use blurb.com to occasionally convert this blog into a photobook for our girls. Your comments will be included in the book and we love them! Thanks again for dropping by!
