"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life..." Philippians 2

Like fish in the desert
This is Dennis's new "Senior Portrait" pose that he began while we were at Farm Week in OK! We are trying to recreate it in as many environments as possible!
Giggly sisters
This girl loves to swim and I love seeing how confident she is as a swimmer. She is typically hesitant and cautious in most everything that she does but, in the water, she truly finds her gills!
She asked that I take this picture. There is a little bit of clown in this one too!
And then there's Vivi. No fears (with the exception of big dogs and bugs). She thinks she can swim independently and wants to go back and forth from us to the ladder as many times as we'll let her.
As soon as you lift her out of the water, she says, "I want to do it a-ga-in!" She definitely has figured out how to make her words have extra syllables.
She smiles the whole time!

In Plain View...
I stayed home this morning to get ready for my next training and Dennis took the girls into Plainview for some fun. They started out the morning at the library's daily summer storytime. Today they had a folk band there to perform plus the 70 kids from the Y that joined Dennis and Amity at the theater to see Brave on Monday. Apparently, we just need to get hold of their schedule!

You've got to love library humor!
Amity really loved the butterfly in this case and requested a picture with it.
After the library, they headed to McDonald's with Lolly to enjoy Plainview's special $1.99 Happy Meals on Thursday. They had fun playing at Lolly's office and walking around Wayland's campus.
Our very own Lazy River
Every night that we have been at Lolly and PopPop's house this week, we have gone swimming in their Endless Pool after dinner. We just got our new camera this afternoon so I had fun trying to capture in photo just how much fun these girls have. Since Dennis was the only one in the pool while I took pictures, the girls have their ring floats on. I will have to take pictures of them actually swimming on another night. They LOVE when we turn the current on and they just go round and round. Oh the giggling!
