- Sleeping from 7pm-7am at night (It's great but we kind of miss her! )
- Sitting up pretty steadily, although we still need to work on her balance
- Playing with toys and grabbing pretty much anything she can get her hands on (the fire extinguisher in the grocery store aisle, strangers' noses, etc.)
- Saying "Da-da" and lots of other syllables (Can I say Dennis is just a little bit proud?)
- Waving "hello" (it's a very subtle wave but it's there!) :)
- Scooting towards toys with an elbow-pull/foot-push combo on the floor
- Cutting two more teeth
Amity is so sweet! It's hard to believe that she's 7 months old already. Miles will hardly know here when they meet again next summer (and vice versa!).

amity is gifted...avery does speak her own language, but we definitely have not heard mama or dada.

I should clarify just to be sure that no one is overestimating Amity's talents! Amity does say da-da A LOT but I don't think she knows what she is saying as I hear her say it throughout the day to her mobile and her toys. Her dad, on the other hand, is convinced that she knows what she is saying. There was one time the other day that she said "Da-da" just as I was handing her to him. You should have seen his face! :)
