Vivien is 1 month old!

I can't believe that it will be March in just three days! It seems like it was just January 19th and we were waiting for this little girl to make her appearance. While there were a few LONG nights, this past month has really flown by.
At one month old, Vivien, you are already very curious and have mastered the stare-down, especially between the hours of 6:00-10:00 in the evening. You are wide-awake during these hours and like to push up on those arms and hold your head high and just stare at us.
You have very dramatic eyebrows (you get those from your Daddy) and people are always commenting about them. While you are generally an easy-going baby, you make people think that you are about to be very upset when you furrow your eyebrows and stick out your bottom lip. You also get lots of comments about your long eyelashes. Maybe you won't have to spend a lot of money on mascara!
You are still a fairly dainty eater but you are gradually starting to eat about 2 ounces a feeding and sometimes 3. However, when you are done, you are done and you can close those lips up very tight to let us know it! Apparently, you are getting enough though because for about two weeks, you have been sleeping from 10:30/11ish until 4:00. Sometimes, with the help of your pacifier, you have even made it until 5 or 6 am! You did have a growth spurt last Sunday night and you wanted to eat every hour but, thankfully, that didn't last more than one night!
You have shown us a few smiles but those are still very rare. For now, you are just looking at us and checking us out and giving lots of snuggles.
P.S. Mommy is very sorry that she packed a snack and lunch for everyone else but forgot to refill your formula container when she took you to a work meeting yesterday. Thankfully, there was a Kroger nearby! She promises to be more careful in the future!

Since our wedding scrapbook is still in the form of a scrapBOX, we plan to use blurb.com to occasionally convert this blog into a photobook for our girls. Your comments will be included in the book and we love them! Thanks again for dropping by!
