For the record...

We went to Amity's 3 year check up last week and, as always, I was unprepared for the list of questions they asked regarding her development. The teacher in me really wishes that they would give us the list ahead of time so that we could be preparing for the assessment!

The only question that I couldn't answer "Yes!" to was the question of whether or not she could ride a tricycle. Up to that point, she had attempted it several times but always struggled with the pedaling and steering. The afternoon after her appointment, I pulled out the tricycle and she rode for almost an hour up and down our sidewalks. I wanted to reschedule just to clarify and score a 100! Still, our sidewalks are bumpy and on a hill so she needed some help along the way.

We finally decided that our walls and cabinets could withstand the tricycle practice and this has become one of her favorite pasttimes.

Of course, Little Sister needs something to ride too!

And, what good is a ride if you can't take some friends along with you? She told me that she was taking her babies to the store and would see me in a little while.
