Sleepy Saturday Morning

Last night, we hosted the childcare for the NSP Good Friday service at the Arboretum. There were six other 1-3 year olds here besides the girls and they all had a great time with their two precious babysitters. It was almost 9 by the time we got the girls in bed so we slept in a little bit this morning and then I made Poor Man's Donuts for breakfast. Afterwards, the girls enjoyed some puzzle time in their pjs.

I love this look of concentration! This is a hard puzzle. I think it may have managed to dissappear for a few months!
Vivien just likes to take the puzzle pieces out. She really likes to sit at the table in the chairs!

The Barrel of Monkeys is more at her ability level...just take them out and put them back in.

And then point and talk to the squirrels running around outside.

The puzzle got too big for the kitchen table so we moved it into the dining room. It is really a floor puzzle but when you have a little sister, nothing is safe on the floor!

After finishing her Cat in the Hat puzzle with a lot of help from me, she was so proud to be able to do these puzzles all by herself!

I love these Saturday mornings! We are headed to the park and the library to stay out of Dennis's way for a little while so he can work on that dissertation. We sure do look forward to the day he can join us in the fun!

Since our wedding scrapbook is still in the form of a scrapBOX, we plan to use blurb.com to occasionally convert this blog into a photobook for our girls. Your comments will be included in the book and we love them! Thanks again for dropping by!
