"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life..." Philippians 2

B-I-B-L-E
Last spring I was trying to get up at 5 am to do Bible study and exercise. It was a struggle and felt more like duty than delight, which just happened to be the name of the Bible study I did with a group of MOPS friends this summer. So, I've decided to use the early morning hours for sleep or other tasks like cooking or cleaning. Dennis and I have started doing workout DVDs at night once the girls are in bed. AND I decided to invite the girls to join me for some "Bible Time" every morning after breakfast. We started at ten minutes and have worked up to 20 minutes thus far. They each sit on a blanket and I divide up our collection of Bible storybooks among them for them to look at by themselves. Some days, I'll hear Amity retelling a Bible story as she looks at the pictures. They are not always 100% accurate but God is always the biggest and strongest and helps us so I think that's okay! I want to add a little photo prayer book and some Bible stories for them to listen to on the iPod to keep them interested. Thankful for this way to start our day!

Since our wedding scrapbook is still in the form of a scrapBOX, we plan to use blurb.com to occasionally convert this blog into a photobook for our girls. Your comments will be included in the book and we love them! Thanks again for dropping by!
