Dream On

Every night, before we go to bed, we go through the same routine: place right hand on the door frame where the paint sticks, turn the door knob slowly with the left hand, push the door open just a crack and wait a few second for baby to put herself back to sleep after being startled by the sticking door, enter bedroom, walk over to bed, listen for sweet deep breaths, and thank God for this little girl. Last night, Dennis had gone in before me and came out laughing over Amity's new sleeping position. How is this for relaxed? And to think that there was a time when this girl would NOT go to sleep on her back!
