I had high hopes that Amity would love playing in the sprinklers but, apparently, it is going to be an acquired taste. While she loves bathtime, she doesn't seem to like the temperature of sprinkler water. Our sprinkler system was installed when the house was built in 1961 so I don't think there is much that can be done about controlling that! Maybe she will change her mind once she has experienced another hot Texas summer!
Maybe we can find one of my small sprinklers that YOU once played under and Amity will be able to enjoy it while you are here in just two more weeks. I'll see what I can do to make that happen! :>)
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can even connect the hose for the sprinkler to the faucet in the garage where we have the option for hot, cold, or a combination of the two to make it just right for Miss Amity!

her swimsuit is SOOO cute!!!! :) oh i am sorry i didn't get to talk to you last night! had to run and put Caroline to bed. i will pray for the person next to you on the plane to be very patient, smiley and love kids...God has always put some special supportive person near us and that totally calms my nerves and makes a world of difference (and a new friend!) :)
