En route to Colorado, we left on Sunday after church for Plainview. We spent the 4th of July with Nana and the Grovers. The girls loved spending some time with Nana.
I think coloring is Amity's love language! Then, Amity decided to "paint" our faces just like the lady at the Arboretum. After painting a pretend kitty on my face, she proceeded to paint Lolly and Nana's faces. It was so cute to see her imitate the directions that she hears from the Arboretum lady.
Vivien had fun playing with Nana too!
After naps, we headed to Plainview for their Red, White, and Moo festivities sponsored by the local dairies. Of coures, everything had to do with milk and cows and there were lots of fun activities with dairy related prizes.
This is the only photo I captured of Amity in the bounce house because she was only inside of it for about 10 seconds. This was after she had begged to go wait in line and get in. Little Miss Cautious SO wants to not be afraid but there are some things just not worth overcoming yet and that is totally okay with us!
It was HOT...didn't feel quite as hot as Dallas but hot nonetheless. Vivi was happy as long as we kept the snacks coming.
PopPop accompanied Amity into the petting zoo.
Enjoying some free chocolate milk
Burgers for dinner
First time eating Cheetos
We returned to the Grovers' for a swim before bedtime.
These girls LOVE to swim and I love that about them!
Happy Fourth of July!

Since our wedding scrapbook is still in the form of a scrapBOX, we plan to use blurb.com to occasionally convert this blog into a photobook for our girls. Your comments will be included in the book and we love them! Thanks again for dropping by!
