Hotel Fun

Our neighbors were texting us throughout the day yesterday to say that the power was still not back on. When I talked to Dennis around 5, he suggested going to a hotel for the night since he had already planned to take off to go to the Cowboy Stadium tour today. We ate dinner at Boston Market and then headed home to pack.

We made it to our Priceline hotel, The Sheraton, by 8:30. Vivien was out as soon as we put her in her bed.

Amity was so excited about having such a big bed with so many pillows and about being in the same room with us that it took her awhile to fall asleep.

Dennis made a Walmart run to pick up some snacks and food for breakfast.

This morning, Amity was thrilled about her new Clifford cup and donut holes.

Vivien was still a bit sleepy and wasn't sure what to think about her Eeyore cup.

However, she did like the chocolate-covered donuts! Daddy's food choices are always a hit with these girls!

I did convince them to each eat an apple.

Then, Amity went with Dennis to pick up the tour tickets and Vivien and I snuggled on the bed and watched TV.
