On Wednesday, I took the girls to Michael's to buy some supplies for Father's Day gifts. Amity wanted to take her quarters from her allowance to buy a present for her Daddy. After MUCH deliberation and explanation on my part about what she could and could not afford, she selected these slap bracelets for 99 cents each. She bought one for herself and one for her daddy. Of course, in true Grover fashion, she could not bear to wait until Sunday to give him her gift and took it directly to him where he was working on his dissertation.
I think this definitely beats a tie!
