I'm a Fish!

Today we finished our final day of 10 days of swim lessons and Amity has definitely found her gills.

Looking back over the pictures I have taken throughout the two weeks, it is amazing how much these little guys learn.
Last week it was all about blowing bubbles and kicking to the toys.

Then, there was some swimming on their backs and...

looking at Mrs. Carol's toes.

On Safety Day, they had to save Miss Sydney with the ring buoy and...

"fall" off a pretend boat and swim to the side with their lifejackets on.

Through it all, these three have been good buddies.

There was even some hand-holding for moral support!

Typically cautious-Amity really surprised us this time by being one of the more adventurous ones of the bunch. This was her typical face as she sat observing on the side.

When she was in the water, she was all smiles.

Her jumps were very miniature but she wasn't afraid to make them.

One of the most amazing things was watching 2 and 3 year olds wait in such a great line!
Thankfully, it wasn't until Day 8 that my one-year-old discovered the hot tub.
Usually she was just content to eat snacks and sit on my lap.

By the end of the week, she was swimming through the hoop, picking up rings off the bottom of the pool, and swimming several feet by herself!
So proud (in a Star-Trekky kind of way)!

Next to Jumping Jack, getting ready to show off!
