Fun on the Farm Day One

On Saturday morning, we woke up to a voice saying, "Mommy...Daddy...it's wake-up time! It's time to go to GG and KK's!" We left the house around 10, stopped in Atoka for lunch, and made it to the farm around 4 with a few potty stops along the way. Vivien took a tiny nap just before we got to Pryor but Amity never gave in despite repeated viewings of Praise Baby! (usually a sure-fire way to lull them to sleep).

When we arrived, the New York Boundses were getting ready for the slip and slide. Their boys are a little more adventurous than our girls but everyone still had lots of fun.

This was the start of a beautiful partnership between GG and Vivien for the rest of the week.

After the slip and slide, there was some relaxing on the hammock and the swing.

Even grown-ups can swing!

After a yummy Mexican stack plate dinner, the jammied children listened to storytime with GG.

So pretty and peaceful!
