Today was our first day of swim lessons for the summer with Mrs. Carol. Ella and Amity are in the same class again this year and Eiley has joined them for the fun.
Mrs. Carol is so good with these kids! She just lined them up and started teaching right away.
Amity loved being told to "fly like an airplane" and kept talking about it on our way home.
Today, they also practice kicking, blowing bubbles, floating on their backs, and doing a quick dunk under before grabbing a toy from the side.
She was smiling the whole time!
Little Sister was cheering from the sidelines with me and enjoyed eating her pretzels and apples.
At the end of every lesson, all swimmers receive a frosted circus cookie. I had low expectations for today thinking that Amity might take a few days to warm up. I am thankful for Mrs. Carol and so proud of this little, I mean BIG girl!
